Broken Arrow Cabin
About Broken Arrow Cabin
My wife and I have always dreamed of building our
own log cabin. We finally undertook the project in
fall of 2004 and it was completed in March 2006.
The cabin overlooks a one acre pond that is
nestled in the middle of over 100 beautiful rolling
acres lost somewhere in remote southern
Muskingum County, Ohio.
The 24' x 32' White Pine Log Cabin sits by itself
behind a coded gate approximately 15 miles
south of Zanesville, Ohio. The secluded cabin
has all the modern conveniences of home
including central air conditioning, radiant floor
heating, full sized washer & dryer, 5 person hot
tub, stainless steel gas grill, basic satellite TV
with VHS/DVD players and full kitchen
appliances. Three sleeping areas include
master with queen size bed, loft with 2 full beds
and basement bunk room with twin/twin and
twin/full bunks. Two full baths. On site activities
include hiking, bird watching, swimming,
canoing, fishing in the catch and release pond
or just plain relaxing in the over sized hammock.
While we are renting the cabin for either weekly,
weekend or weeknight rentals, special hunting
opportunities are available during select weeks.
Please call for specific dates and details.
Approximately one acre
and stocked 3 years ago
with Largemouth Bass,
Bluegill and Rainbow
Trout. Guests are invited
to enjoy this wonderful
opportunity, canoe or just
play on the sandy beach.
The cabin was built to
enjoy the great outdoors
with large windows and
decks overlooking the
pond. The view is
spectacular and often
interrupted by a
waterfowl fly-in, strutting
turkeys or deer feeding
near the pond.
Over 100 Acres of
privately owned wooded
terrain located in
County Ohio. Local
public access includes

Land and 4,500 acres of
Blue Rock State Forest.
